If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my, um, maturity, it’s that staying relevant is HARD! It’s okay to lament that nobody on your team knows who Duran Duran is, but don’t get stuck on it. Trends come and go, the hottest things turn cold and life moves on. Remember this the next time you’re staring down the barrel of a change and think “how will I ever tackle THIS?” You will. And in 5 years time, nobody will remember anyway.

COVID-19 further blurred the lines between work and home.  It’s tough to disconnect when your place of work is a home office just feet from the bedroom. Also, with phones and tablets providing alerts and buzzes at all hours, it’s no wonder so many of us can’t disengage and are burning out. To help address this issue, some governments are mandating employers to give us the right to disconnect.
