The reality is that everyone experiences change differently, and the one-size-fits-all approach by definition is flawed. We make sense of change through simple, linear step-by-step frameworks. Although easy to understand, they don’t acknowledge the randomness and interconnectivity of complexity. It will also mitigate the shade we throw when things don’t go as planned.

Can you cheat death?

I wouldn’t bet on it, but some do. This long and interesting article explores the possibility of developing medical drugs without many of the constraints of FDA requirements in special economic zones. The relevance for change is that we often cut corners because we don’t want to take the time or spend the money that rigour requires. Can you cut corners and achieve your results? Sometimes. Would you bet your life or reputation on it? Some do. I wouldn’t.
